Buckle up…

All the social media platforms are going to change if they haven’t already.

LinkedIn: LinkedIn’s new approach involves deprioritizing posts that steer users away from the platform. Now, when a post includes a link with a prepopulated headline and URL, the associated image is reduced to a thumbnail size placed alongside the headline. LinkedIn’s algorithm will now showcase these link posts less frequently to your followers, effectively limiting their visibility and reducing organic reach.

Instagram:  Get ready to pay to play.  Instagram’s recent shift to a pay-to-play model, where you’ll need to invest $15 to $350 a month to get your content seen.   It’s also testing some features:

1- Worried about a typo or something not exactly right in your message? You can now edit your Instagram messages up to 15 minutes after sending
2- You can now zoom in on the profile picture.
3- There are 3 new sticker features.

4- I heard they are testing out a hashtag limit but I haven’t seen anything updated on this yet.

Twitter/X:  You need to upgrade your subscription to have a newsfeed of NO ADS

Tiktok:

1- You can now do a search query to see just what tags people are using to find your videos. It’s creepy though. But useful.
2- Creator Search Insights – A tool used to help create videos of content PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR!

Facebook:

Head over to settings Then push Newsfeed under Preferences.  Then you you can manage whose posts you want to see FIRST on your feed.

There are a lot of other features coming down the pipeline for social apps.

AS ALWAYS KNOW THAT NO APP IS GOING TO DM YOU ABOUT YOUR PAGES BEING DELETED, OR YOU HAVING ANY INFRINGEMENTS OF ANY KIND… THOSE ARE SCAMMERS! DELETE! NEVER CLICK ANY OF THOSE LINKS!

IF YOU AREN’T SURE IF SOMEONE WAS HACKED… ASK THEM DIRECTLY EITHER BY PHONE, EMAIL OR ON ANOTHER APP.
